Not a bad session and it was nice to be out on the sea again rather than on the flat water of the estuary.

I got to the beach first and put new footstraps on my board. Steve arrived and we rigged up. I rigged a 5.7m and Steve his new 6.2m sail. It took me a while to get settled as i was using a new extension, new boom and new harness lines so nothing was quite set up right to start with. The footstraps needed a little fiddling with as well.

It was pretty good, with both of us nicely powered up. There were some good ramps to start with and I made a few good jumps. Darren came out with his kite, as did Mike and Simon, and Stevebus and Richard joined Steve and I windsurfing.

Darren packed his kite up and came out windsurfing later in the day as well. Around 5pm the wind dropped a little and a big rain storm came through. I packed up then as did Richard, and Mike and Simon had already gone. Darren and Steve were still there when I left hoping for the wind to pick up again... It looks as though it may have done, and the sun is shining!!
